Day4 1 Thessalonians 4:1 “And now, beloved brothers and sisters, since you have been mentored by us with respect to living for God and pleasing him, I appeal to you in the name of the Lord Jesus with this request: keep faithfully growing through our teachings even more and more.” 1 Thessalonians 4:1 TPT https://bible.com/bible/1849/1th.4.1.TPT Cross references Ephesians 4: 1; 2 Thessalonians 1:3 Grow A seed in the ground is continually growing as long as it gets enough water and proper nutrients from the soil. Until it breaks through the surface of the ground, there is no evidence of this happening that we can see. Experience has taught us to watch and wait for the evidence. Once the seed is planted we can no longer see it, but we still believe it is growing. Have you ever planted a seed that never came up? I have. Did you stop planting? I didn’t stop. Why do we give up on our faith as soon as we can’t see immediate results? For me, God has come through in the nick of time a-lot. What about you? Our faith needs watered and it needs food. Remind yourself of times when God has come through for you. Are you as consistent in feeding your faith as you are your flowers or tomato plants? God expects us to grow. It is a continual action. Water yourself with the Word of God. Feed your soul by listening to faith teachings and preachings. Commune with Holy Spirit by praying in tongues or talking with Him and listen. Think about God’s Word throughout your day. Keep planting seeds. It is important to sow into yourself, but just as important to sow into others. I think God intended us to have an all season garden, not just one plant. God has given us grace to embrace every season of our lives. Nourish to flourish! Share and you’ll have fruit to spare.
