Day1
Mark 15:12
“So Pilate asked them, “What do you want me to do with this one you call the king of the Jews?” They all shouted back, “Crucify him!” “Why?” Pilate asked. “What evil thing has he done wrong to deserve that?” But they kept shouting out with a deafening roar, “Crucify him at once!” Because he wanted to please the people, Pilate released Barabbas to them. After he had Jesus severely beaten with a whip made of leather straps and embedded with metal, he sentenced him to be crucified.”

Why?
The law of purification.
The law having a shadow of the good things to come. Hebrews 10:1.
Two turtle doves, one sacrificed and the other set free.
Jesus was sacrificed and Barabbas was set free. Did Barabbas deserve to be set free? Do you?
For the law of purification the two turtle doves were bound by a scarlet cord and one was sacrificed. The other was dipped into the blood of the first dove and then set free into an open field.
What a picture of Jesus sacrifice for our purification!
His sacrifice was once for all! It is finished. A perfect sacrifice!
The turtle doves were a poor man’s sacrifice.
This illustrates that no matter your financial status, the sacrifice was paid for all. Anyone who will accept it.
God is an equal opportunity God. He loves everyone. No matter what you did or did not do. Jesus paid in full with His own life the price for your purification!
Believe it and receive it!
