Singing!
Singing is a huge part of any Jewish celebration!
They most likely sang more than one hymn and it was not quiet, but full of life, hope and deliverance.
Jesus shared with them many things as they ate that night. He prayed the John 17 prayer over them, which is where He prays for all who will ever follow Him. That means us!
Jesus kept the Passover. He celebrated with His disciples and instructed them in great detail. He washed their feet, even Judas.
He must have sang and celebrated like they always had because the disciples did not see what was coming.
The devil also did not see what was coming!
Are you troubled about your circumstances? Consider Jesus example. He humbled Himself by washing the disciples feet including Judas, whom Jesus knew would betray Him. He sang and celebrated like nothing was different. He kept His joy full!
When you keep your joy in-spite of what is happening , you will fool the enemy! If He can’t steal your joy, He can’t rob your goods!
Sing for the joy set before you!!!
